We are located in a traditional Ardeche stone village nestled between dramatic hills and sitting astride a pretty river with its weirs & waterfall, surrounded by picturesque vineyards & olive groves

Le Mas de la Source is a large property of 2800 sq metres comprising an ancient farmhouse and it's lovely refurbished old stone buildings, where you will stay. Attractive Mediterranean gardens with olive trees, ancient mulberry tree, ruined stone arch and interesting courtyards surround the property, to inspire the artist in you! Our studio is a dedicated Maison de L'Artiste which enjoys great lighting.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable and self contained cottages on our property. The large heated pool will be open & we expect warm (25°- 30°) afternoons.

Tuition & gentle guidance will be provided by Nicole Finiels . Nicole qualified at L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. A link to her blog site where you can learn about her art career and view samples of her work is here.

Nicole will provide tuition over five days and work with everybody regardless of ability or experience. There will also be plenty of opportunity for you to work alone as you progress. The painting holiday is limited to just seven people so we can provide more time for the individual...time for you.

During your stay all meals will be provided. Healthy breakfasts to start your day; leisurely, delicious lunches; and in the evening, convivial aperitifs & relaxed French dinners with free flowing local wine. During the day while at Le Mas, tea & coffee, soft drinks & biscuits are available.
